Spiritually connected entrepreneurs, holisitic practitioners, alternative therapists and anyone else who follows the principles of universal laws and how to put these into practice for more wealth, more health and more happiness!
Spending too much time on the treadmill and not going anywhere fast? Feel scattered, overwhelmed, frazzled, or fearful?
Truth is, you are an electro-magnetic being and when you are out of sorts, your spirit, the essence of who you are is not fully present.
In turn, making a connection with others, your potential clients is not good, or its not happening. Your message will be lost in a fog of confusion whereby others’ don’t understand what you mean or what you are trying to say to them.
Before going any further, it’s a time for grounding. Here’s some easy ways you can do this:
- Take a break from your desk and go outside.
- Take a walk in the park or by a riverside with calming water
- Feed the ducks
- Walk your dog
- Jump up and down or dance to music
- Hug a tree
- Smell flowers
- Go for a massage
- Massage the soles of your feet
There are lots of simple ways to help you get grounded. It’s simple, but critical if you are to have a clear connection to the people you want to serve.
When you are grounded, you are in your power.
Where does the idea of being perfect come from? Perfectionism is based on the false belief that if we do things perfectly, then we can avoid failure.
It’s also to do with wanting to produce flawless work to earn the approval of others and to be accepted. However, this is unhealthy. It sets us up for failure because we can never live up to the expectations we set for ourselves when we are judging ourselves against what we feel or think is the expectations of someone else.
Far better to recognize the distinct difference between giving something your best shot, rather than trying to be perfect.
Wasting time on trying to get something to a state of perceived perfection is limiting and prevents you from making the progress you would have made had you just done your best. It’s this that makes the difference between failing at something or indeed making it a success.
Today is my birthday (I won’t say which one – just that the cake hasn’t been made that could withstand the amount of candles). So I thought I’d send out a birthday wish in the good will of the Law of Tenfold Return. It’s this:
The Law of Tenfold Return is that Universal Principle
wherein gifts freely given for Spiritual Use
return to the grantor good fortune equal to
or greater than ten times the loss.
This Law works on the principle that
when a vacuum is created it must be filled,
when a seed is magically planted, it will bear fruit
greater that its weight and original value.
And my birthday wish for you is endless love and light today and always …
Do you dream of the time when you will be free to pursue your dreams? Go travelling? Have endless money in the bank? Enjoy friends and family more?
Yes, these are your hopes, your dreams and your desires – but they are all in the future and your future depends on the choices you make today.
You only ever have this moment in time – because the past moments are gone and the future will eventually show up as another moment of now. Think about that.
Success starts at this very moment, with the choices you make right now in the present time. Practice presence.
Take time to notice what’s already around you. Seep in what you hear, see, smell, taste and feel. Notice it all and what you experience as you do so.
And here’s a quote to help you put this into perspective:
“The clock is running.
Make the most of today.
Time waits for no man.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That’s why it is called the present.”
Do you spend your time endlessly seeking the secret shortcuts to success?
Or chasing after the next idea that’s popped into you head?
Or booking yourself on to the big event to be seen alongside the guru you’re in admiration of at this moment in time?
Lets face it – we’re all guilty to some extent of the shiny object syndrome. The pursuit of everything that seems appealing is mighty seductive. It’s also part of human nature to seek out what we don’t have that makes it so attractive.
However, it makes us get side-tracked, loose focus and go into a million or so different directions to the one we should steer ourselves towards.
It’s far better to take time out, not do anything at times and just think about the ideas you really want to pursue. Decide what activities will draw you towards your goals rather than being in someone else’s shadow. Set yourself some guidelines and stick to them on a consistent basis.
In time, you will have cured yourself of the SOS, and feel a lot happier and be wealthier too.
I’m very excited to announce the agreement of a new partnership specifically designed to helps clients reach more people.
The partnership between myself at Spirit of Venus and Neil and Jo Fellowes at 7-figure Back Office will mean a series of on-line events featuring 7-figure Back Office clients getting the spotlight they deserve.
It will raise their profiles and enable clients to speak to bigger audiences. The first event we’re planning will take place in early 2015.
So watch this space!
- The universe is infinite. Most ancient philosophies state that there is a vast invisible universe that exists alongside the physical world – the one you are aware of. The invisible universe is so vast that it is infinite – without beginning or end.
- Everything in the universe is composed of energy – atoms, molecules and subatomic particles. All of these have their own vibration and frequency.
- It’s a mental world we live in. The universe is a vast intelligence with a purpose of converting thoughts and ideas into reality.
- You are the co-creator of your life. You can create an entirely different life for yourself whenever you choose. You can create events, experiences, physical possibilities or relationships.
- The universe is infinitely abundant. The universal storehouse never runs out of anything.
The energy of appreciation is a valuable vibration about your person. It’s having the intention to live with gratitude. It is the conscious acknowledgement and willingness to notice all the good things in your life.
How does it work?
I recall being at an event and meeting someone who was moaning about life’s unfairness. He didn’t earn enough money to pay his rent let alone buy his own home. He didn’t see the point of making his rented apartment clean and tidy because it was in a grotty area of town. Then there was his car – an old banger that leaked oil and wasn’t worth anything. And he went on …
I stopped him and I asked him how he’d gotten to the event. He’d driven in his ‘heap of junk’ and parked it at the end of the parking lot where it didn’t matter if someone ran into it. I asked him about his job. He wasn’t particularly happy with the hours, the work or the pittance it paid him. I asked him how he travelled to work. He told me in his old banger of course.
Then I explored everything to do with that old banger – or rather everything he’d have to forego if he no longer had that car. Slowly he began to realise that he’d never have got to this event (which he said was free by the way or he wouldn’t have come) without his car. And again, without it he would be unable to get to work, and instead have to make two long bus journeys and stand out in the rain waiting for the bus to arrive. He’d have to carry any shopping and walk everywhere.
Eventually, he began to see the value in that old car and how he ought to appreciate it for everything it gave him. And in other areas of his life we had a number of conversations such as the value in having a job – even if it’ didn’t pay very much money, he still had a job which many people didn’t. He had companionship when he was there and many other things too. His apartment and it’s location didn’t matter so much as the beauty he could create within the inner walls of his little sanctuary. He could clean it up, make it feel nice and appreciate a roof over his head.
I do know that by the end of the event this man came away with a completely different perspective. He’d learned to appreciate what he had and to see the value in everything no matter what.
Fact is, you can’t experience true happiness until you truly appreciate what you already have. And according to the Law of Magnetism, your energy of gratitude will only attract more to appreciate in your future.
Have you heard the saying that ‘today is a gift – that’s why it’s called the present’. That’s sweet but it does relate to energetic truth behind the saying because energetically, we create our reality every moment that we love.
The present opens us up to opportunities, options for moving forward, taking a new direction, making a difference in our lives. It is the power to change our future that every given second in the present is a Universal gift.
But how many times do we throw our precious present moments away? We’re all so busy with work that we don’t see the gift of the present. We turn down outings because we’re too busy at work to go and enjoy ourselves more. Then when we drive home we’re so stressed out we often notice the beautiful sunset setting across the sky. We don’t take time to savour the moment to watch the water, to feed the ducks or to spend time in nature. We should see more friends or spend time with loved ones but again, we’re all so busy to do that.
We’re continually distracted by work or other obligations that we forget to enjoy the present. We forget that the present is just that – a gift. But for a moment think about it and how you’d feel if you’d carefully chosen a gift and beautifully wrapped it up to give to a special person and they simply tossed it aside like it was worthless and got on with their life your gift didn’t matter at all. You’d be upset right? You’d stop giving. That’s exactly what happens when you dismiss the gifts given by the Universe – it is a brutal dismissal of your own life, and the Universe will respond by dismissing your desires.
But if you embrace each moment and accept the gift of the present and really value that – seeing the beauty in the sunset, the rainbow or the conversation with a dear friend, you will dramatically change the energy of Presence and in doing so, alter the results you see in your future.
We’re always being asked to live our purpose and encouraged to do what we love. But how do you know your living on purpose? Do you know what your guiding principles are?
A good indicator as to being off purpose is being bounced around from pillar to post and not knowing what to do about it. Being reactive rather than proactive. Living each day by existing rather than being in the moment. Your energy is scattered and you spend your time waiting for your luck to change (which it doesn’t). Can you relate to any of that?
Living on purpose, however, gives you a direct path and you have a direct course which is a fast-track to your goals. Your energy and your life are on the straight and narrow. Everything flows. Of course, there are still things that life throws at you – but you deal with it. It does not stop you.
So, what would you say your primary purpose is? Well, if you answer that question with something that relates to your work, think again. Because anything work related is your professional purpose – not your primary purpose. Similarly if you believe it has to do with your family, try again, because that is your personal purpose.
Your primary purpose has nothing to do with anything outside of you because it’s all about your inner life. It is your movement from birth to death; that there is something greater that must be done. It’s your personal and spiritual growth and the only thing you’ll take with you when you depart this earthly planet.
Only you can decide what your spiritual purpose is but for most people it is all about love. This is where the Law of Expanding Influence comes in because the more release hate, revenge, negative thinking and instead embrace love – the more positive energy expands in our world. And not just for you, but for everyone.
